Cooperative Tifaout was founded in 2007 in the Ait Daoud village in Taznakht, a town 90KM away from Ouarzazate known for the richness and quality of its craft in the south of Morocco.

Education: Completed the third year of middle school
Hobby: Weaving rugs
About weaving: I learned the craft of rug weaving from my mother.

A member of Cooperative Tifaout Ntagdift, weaving in Taznaght.
Fatima Ait Kass
Fatima Ait Kassi is 39 years old and completed primary school through the sixth grade. She learned the art of rug weaving from her mother, may she rest in peace, and has continued practicing this traditional craft with passion, preserving this valuable cultural heritage.
Rahma Oufkir
Rahma Oufkir is 69 years old and did not attend school. She is passionate about rug weaving, a craft she learned from her mother and grandmother, and continues to practice it while preserving this traditional heritage.
