Artisans and Anou's technology enable you to support artisans while focusing fully on your business.

Receive detailed breakdowns of every quote you receive and know exactly where your money is going. Anou ensures that your money makes it to the artisans who made what you order.

ANOU FEE FOR LONG-TERM PARTNERS, AT OUR DISCRETION
Artisans discount their own pieces (typically older stock) exclusively for retail partners, usually 10–50% per piece.
The Anou fee pays the artisans who run this work. Anou advises on pricing but never sets it, and the artisan team manages your orders from quote to delivery, so there's less for you to do.
For partners who have purchased consistently for over a year, are easy to work with and are committed to supporting artisans through Anou, we may elect to reduce the Anou fee further.
No card fees
Pay by bank transfer to skip card fees entirely.
Lower bulk shipping
Planning a bulk order you're certain about? We'll see if our broker network can cut your shipping cost.
50% off artisan visits
And visit any artisan group you've purchased from at 50% of the normal visit rate.
WHY BUY THROUGH ANOU
You can visit a cooperative on your own, but you can't see whether your payment is shared fairly among its members.
Every artisan on Anou is vetted, every group meets our transparency requirements, and every part of the operation is run by artisans. Some cooperatives choose not to join because of those requirements.

We do, but there are two important points. First, wholesale discounts rarely reach 50%. Second, Anou itself does not set wholesale pricing for artisans — artisans discount their own pieces (typically older stock) exclusively for retail partners, usually 10–50% per piece.
On those discounted pieces, long-term partners may also pay a reduced Anou fee at our discretion, and any order can be paid by bank transfer to skip card processing fees.
For large commission orders, Anou will work with artisans to set exclusive pricing but this depends on volume and overall orders per year.
Yes! We'll always try and encourage collaborations with artisans and try and ensure artisans are able to contribute (to avoid artisans just becoming manufacturers). Reach out and we can discuss this more in depth!
You retain the exclusive right to sell any products you make through Anou. Artisans are not allowed to resell products made in collaboration with retail partners on Anou or elsewhere. Groups that remake and resell products from retail partners are subject to suspension from the Anou community.
