The group's story

In their own words

The village of Tighedouine is located about 70km from Marrakech. This area is famous for its natural springs that come from the mountains. A popular myth in the region says that the water of these springs can heal the sick.

Cooperative Tighedouine was founded by Naima after leaving her previous cooperative over transparency concerns. Naima aimed to start an artisan group where transparency is the priority hoping to offer a space for women of the village to earn sustainable income independently. Cooperative Tighedouine has been part of Anou since 2021.
