Boucherouites can add color and warmth to any space. They are commonly found in rural homes of Goulmima as they are used to keep homes warm during harsher months. The women in Wifak learned how to make boucherouites from their families. The colors of the boucherouites are determined by the colored cloths that can be found locally.
Fatima was born in 1965 in Goulmima. When she was younger, Fatima lived in France where her father was working at the time. When she married, she returned back to Morocco where she now lives with her husband, who works in construction. Fatima is the mother of five children.
