Brahim El Mansouri

Brahim is the president of Association Ighrem and has been working at the woodshop for over 10 years. In addition to carving, Brahim has worked extensively with artists and artisans throughout Morocco by organizing trainings on Excel, internet and other computer skills. Because of his ability to work with artists and artisans of all backgrounds, Brahim has become the director of Anou in Morocco and leads all the artisan trainings. Brahim is married and has two daughters, Raja and Yasmina. and safae

Omar Saber

Omar was born in 1990 in Douar Agouti. He graduated high school in Azilal before starting to learn wood carving from Brahim Mansouri in the wood workshop of the village. He specializes in carving spoons and when he’s not at the workshop he works as a tractor driver and helps in the villagers’s farms.

Mohammed Massaoudi

Mohammed was born in Agouti in 1977. He is a wood carver and is married with a kid. He graduated high school in Meknes before starting to work as a mountain guide in 1993. He is one of the co-founders of the wood workshop after he was trained in back in 1988 at the training center for mountain guides. He specializes in wooden tableware and hopes that their craft will get more recognition and will live on.
