Omar was born in 1990 in Douar Agouti. He graduated high school in Azilal before starting to learn wood carving from Brahim Mansouri in the wood workshop of the village. He specializes in carving spoons and when he’s not at the workshop he works as a tractor driver and helps in the villagers’s farms.
Each bowl Association Ighrem is carved by hand without the use of a turner. As a result, the bowls are the result of multiple days of work to create pieces that can only be found at Association Ighrem's shop.

But with your help we can change that!
Every product on Anou is priced by artisans themselves and Anou shows
exactly where your money goes. When buying handmade Moroccan crafts always ask for pricing breakdowns from sellers.
