This rug is woven in the flatweave style with the motifs woven into the overall design. The hanbel has a bohemian chic feel and can accent any open space.
Henu is a Zaouia native and specializes in all the carpets that the association makes. She is divorced and has one son. Her son is received his Phd and now is a professor in Rabat. When she is not traveling to a craft fairs across the country, she weaves at at the association and spends time cleaning and cooking at home. With the extra income she generates from her sales she plans on saving it to go on a Hajj, an Islamic pilgrimage.

Association Zawia Oued Ifrane hosts visitors in their village — share tea, watch the artisans at work, and see the craft up close. Visits start at $17 per person, and most of it goes straight to the group.
