In 1974, Aziz was only 10 years old when he had to go physical therapy. Therapy did not improve Aziz's physical ailment and as a result, the workshop owner adopted him and provided him with work at the shop. Since then, the owner taught Aziz the secrets of the workshop and he has become the workshops shawl master.
