Boucherouite rugs are thick colorful rugs used making recycled clothing that are no longer in use. Many of Tadighoust's boucherouite rugs are defined by distinct traditional symbols rooted in Saharan culture.
Hanane is an artisan weaver from Tadighoust. She is married and does not have kids. She studied up to the fifth grade of primary school. She has experience in weaving and aspires to develop her skills to access more opportunities to sell her woven products without intermediaries.

Association Tadighoust hosts visitors in their village — share tea, watch the artisans at work, and see the craft up close. Visits start at $14 per person, and most of it goes straight to the group.
