These woven baskets are commonly found throughout Muoy due to all the palm material that is readily accessible. They are used for serving meals and holding bread.
Naima was born in the town of Oued Ifrane and moved to Qsar Muoy in the 1980โs when she married her husband. She is the sister of Mustapha Chaouai, one of the artisan leaders of Anou.
