Cooperative Tisseuses is most well known for their hanbel rugs. While hanbel rugs are commonly found through the Middle Atlas mountains, the contemporary design found on most are large said to have started in Ain Leuh. Regardless of the origin of these rugs, they still set the trends in the wider weaving community. The symbols on these rugs reflect different criteria of Amazigh women such as courage which is represented by the lion eyes.
My name is Rashidi Jamila, born in 1983 in Ain Al-Louh. My educational level is preparatory school. I learned textile work at the cooperative through training provided by a group of women from the cooperative. I am single.
