Cooperative Tisseuses is most well known for their hanbel rugs. While hanbel rugs are commonly found through the Middle Atlas mountains, the contemporary design found on most are large said to have started in Ain Leuh. Regardless of the origin of these rugs, they still set the trends in the wider weaving community. The symbols on these rugs reflect different criteria of Amazigh women such as courage which is represented by the lion eyes.
Rachida joined the Ain Leuh Cooperative in 2010 just after getting married and moving to Ain Leuh. She wants to support her husband and her family and she is grateful to be able to work in the cooperative.
