The distinctive curve on this blade is a signature design of the dagger makers of Kelaat M'Gouna A dagger with wood handle and decorated with silver. Each dagger is entirely hand made, from the handle to the sheath.
Mohammed Oakam was born in Azlag during the 1970โs. He never attended school because finishing school was not emphasized at the time. Instead, he learned the art of creating daggers from his father and now has been an expert dagger maker for over 30 years and counting. He hopes that he will be able to develop his craft so daggers become more widely known than before.
