Nadia Aqshtoul is a 35-year-old artisan, married and a mother of two, a daughter and a son. She learned the craft of weaving at a young age from her mother, who passed down her skills and knowledge of the craft to her. In 2022, Nadia decided to pursue weaving professionally. She was motivated by a desire to become more independent, develop her skills and abilities, and earn an income that would help her provide for her children and support her family.
