Fatima Ahzmad

Fatima Ahzmad was born on April 4, 1970 in Figuig. After her father’s retirement, she moved back to her home village of Ikhef nighir, a village in Ait Bouguemez (“the happy valley”) of the High Atlas. After returning home, she married, and now has two daughters and two sons. Her love for weaving started when she was a teenager thanks to her mother who helped her learn about making rugs. Fatima joined Numedia Tabudrart in 2019.
