MEET THE MAKERS
Fatima Dadsi
Fatima has lived in Qsar Muoy since the 1970βs. She is the mother of three children. She hopes that through her work in the association sheβll be able to attend many national craft fairs.
Chaouai Naima
Naima was born in the town of Oued Ifrane and moved to Qsar Muoy in the 1980βs when she married her husband. She is the sister of Mustapha Chaouai, one of the artisan leaders of Anou.
Hlima Ait Alla
Halima was born in Qsar Muoy and has never married. While she did not finish school, she still attends literacy classes provided by a local association. She hopes that through the association she will be able to learn how to use technology and improve the marketing of her association.
VISIT THE VILLAGE
Association Tadighoust hosts visitors in their village — share tea, watch the artisans at work, and see the craft up close. Visits start at $14 per person, and most of it goes straight to the group.
