The "Thysia" cooperative was established in Douar Anfkou, Anemzi municipality, Midelt region, to preserve the cultural heritage of the area and empower women by providing employment opportunities that enable them to generate a sustainable income. It's important to note that the region lacks adequate infrastructure. The name "Anfkou," previously known as "Afko," is derived from oral narratives, as the people of the region were skilled hunters who always followed a bird called "Stenadi." However, they eventually discovered an oasis abundant with resources, which led them to settle and prosper there.
