MEET THE MAKERS
Yassin Belmoujahid
Yassin Belmoujahid was born in 1989, he is married and has two daughter. He got interested in weaving back in 2008 and immediately started learning and perfecting his technique. At the same time he saved up money until he was able to purchase a few materials needed to set up a small workshop in his house. Every time he completed a few items he'd take it to the market to sell it and continued saving up to rent a real workshop/store place. But the more he worked the more his eyes had trouble seeing the thinnest threads until he couldn't see anymore. Ultimately he borrowed some money to go through surgery and finally recovered his sight. Later on with the help of a friend he was also able to rent his own store as well.
