Rachida was born in 1971 in Safi, she studied until 5th grade before dropping out. Later she hung out around a pottery workshop in her neighborhood and decided to start her training to become a potter herself.
Hasnae Alouaki was born in 1975 in Safi, she has a degree in IT management and has been learning pottery in parallel. She joined the cooperative in 2014, and she says that the most challenging issues facing the cooperative is the competition and the middlemen controlling the sector. And believes that one way to overcome this is to bet on quality and continuously developing one’s skills and ideally be in direct contact with the final customers.
This traditional water carafe is handmade and commonly used to serve water and keep it fresh. It is the perfect centerpiece or decoration.
