MEET THE MAKERS
Malika Elnassiri
Malika was born in 1981 in Beni Moussi. She joined The Cooperative Zohour Development of Women immediately after it was founded. When she is not at the cooperative, she spends her time keeping up with household chores at home.
Najia Adli
Najia was born in 1976 in Ksar Gaouz, which is a small village outside of Beni Moussi. She learned to weave from members of her family, and as a result, she became a prime candidate to become a member of the cooperative as soon as it was founded. She hopes that the sales of the cooperative increase so they can afford to rent a center where all the women can work on their craft together.
