Each Zerbya, or pile knot rug, reflects designs that blend the designs of the association's president with the colors and symbols commonly found throughout the Ouarzazate region.
Fadma Mousin is the founder of Association Afous g Afous and to this day remains the cornerstone to is success. Even though she has been disabled since a very young age, she has developed impressive weaving skills which she now imparts upon all the members of the association. Fadma, regularly described as incredibly smart, is a selfless leader who only wants to see the members of her association succeed.

Association Afous Gafous hosts visitors in their village — share tea, watch the artisans at work, and see the craft up close. Visits start at $21 per person, and most of it goes straight to the group.
