MEET THE MAKERS
Abdelah Bachraoui
Abdelah was born in 1959 in Merrakech and is the father of five children. He learned the craft if weaving from other local artisans. He moved in 1990 to Tameslouht, a small village, to look for work and a home. Abdelah was the creator of the Liberty Cooperative.
Mustapha El Kadi
A traditional artisan who has learned his craft in the cooperative and has also worked wih it since 2006
