Khadija is the president of the association and was born in Tedouit ZanFi in 1977, and is taught herself how to weave and develop skills in the craft, which is why she has wanted the products of their cooperative to be widely recognized in Morocco and famous worldwide. She hopes that she and all of the other women of the association will be able to earn sustainable income. She wants to create a new generation of weavers so that this craft may stay alive. Through the other women of the cooperative, she has learned new skills in pattern design.
The designs made by the association are rooted in the long weaving history of the region. Many of these rugs, known as Taznakht rugs, are made distinct by bright reds and yellows, colors that represent the landscape in which the rugs were made.
