MEET THE MAKERS
Zineb Rkhsis
Zineb is a Tadula Zanfi native and was born in the late 1980โs. Zineb attended school until the sixth grade as it was not commonly encouraged to finish more years of school at the time of her youth. She learned how to weave from her relatives and now specializes in flatweave or hanbel rugs. She hopes that one day her association becomes well known and is able to improve the lives of the women within it.
Samira Oubrka
Samira was born in Tadula Zanfi in the early 90โs. She attended school until the sixth grade. She learned how to weave from her mother but has continued to improve and diversify her skills in weaving and embroidery at her association. She hopes that through the association she will be able to continue developing her skills so she and her family can live a peaceful, stable life.
