Naima was born in the town of Oued Ifrane and moved to Qsar Muoy in the 1980’s when she married her husband. She is the sister of Mustapha Chaouai, one of the artisan leaders of Anou.
Rabha has been a member of the association since it was first founded. She hopes that through her work the association will not only be able to increase sales, but also bring more tourists to her village.
These handmade thick flatweave rugs are often used for flooring in homes in Muoy. Given their thickness, they are durable and long lasting.
