Khadija was born in a small village Sidi Aheya Youssifi. She is married and is a mother to four children. She has been weaving from a young age and is very skilled in making rugs, Hanbal, and Handira.
Khadija enjoys traveling to Kenfira. She hopes to earn enough money from the association to build her family a house.
Imani was born and raised in Zaouia. While she is currently divorced, she does look after her son. She learned to weave as a young child. She is very skilled and can make rugs, Handira, and Hanbal. She joined Association Zaouia in 2013.
Her goal is to continue working in order to support her only child.
Handira rugs used to be placed in every home. It was considered to be a piece of clothing that would be worn
outside. It is now used for decoration and gifted to young women about to be wed.
