Mena Adad was born in the 80’s and is originally from Tadula Zanfi. She has been a member of the association since the first month that the association opened. She learned how to weave from her mom as weaving is an important activity, alongside housework, for the women of the region. Mena also does some embroidery and crochet within the association. With these craft skills, she hopes that she can improve her income and develop her craft further so her products are marketable globally.
This playful traditional Moroccan rug is made from up cycled clothes and woven into new and unique patterns. It can give warmth and color to any room.
