A Boucherouite rug is a type of handmade rug that was traditionally woven when a family no longer had wool to weave or simply could no longer afford it. To replace wool, families used torn shreds of old unused clothing to weave the rugs that would get them through cold winters.
My name is Rashidi Jamila, born in 1983 in Ain Al-Louh. My educational level is preparatory school. I learned textile work at the cooperative through training provided by a group of women from the cooperative. I am single.
