Each Zerbya, or pile knot rug, reflects designs that blend the designs of the association's president with the colors and symbols commonly found throughout the Ouarzazate region.
Rabiaa was born in the Ouarzazate region and has lived in the area for her entire life. Her husband passed away several years ago and now lives with her immediate family as she has no children. She joined the association because she wanted to learn how to weave and support herself through the sales of her rugs.
