Naima was born in Gaouz and is 31 years old. Naima only got to study for three years in primary school, dropping out because of her family's living conditions. However, she has continued to learn through locally provided literacy courses. Now, she is a mentor in Association El Wifak and she specializes in Crochet. She learned how to crochet thanks to the local women's association where she got to earn her diploma in knitting. She hopes that the local products will continue to become known nationally and internationally, and allow for their local community to have a prosperous future.
This side bag is made by hand and features traditional Tahrouit design. The designs stem from a blend of Amazigh and Saharan cultures and most designs carry special meaning. For example, some designs note if a woman is married or if a woman is single.
