Hicham is considered to be SAIDI ,the master artisan in damascene, in Meknes.
He is an artist known internationally for his elegance and the delicacy of his work. He has participated in several competitions around the world where his work is remarkable. From his early age, His father, Mbarek, taught him this craft. At the age of 12 and during school breaks, Hicham’s father discovered that his son had a talent of this craft and that he learns this profession with passion. He inherited the love of perfection and refinement from his father and since then, he carries on the tradition of excellence in Palais Damasquini's works. With a lot of generosity, he teaches this craft to his employees.
