Al Aiyyachi Azjal
Azjal al Aiyyachi was born in 1972 in Tetouan. He is currently married and has four sons that are still studying. He dropped out of school in the third grade of middle school and started to frequent some traditional workshops in order to have more knowledge about these crafts that are passed on from father to son. He was really attracted to the uniqueness of their artefacts. He kept learning from different artisans for a long time and then decided to open his own shop. That experience was really daunting since he had to sell his products to his landlord at a really cheap rate in order to keep his rent. He also had to pay the intermediaries huge commissions and follow their edicts regarding some changes to his products to be able to sell them abroad. He loves soccer and thus goes to coffee shops with his friends in order to watch the matches of his favourite team. He also loves travelling all around Morocco. His wish is to see his sons grown and in good health and be able to open his own workshop independently.
