Jamila Ait Hammo
Fatima Ayt Yassin
Born in 1977 in Azrou, Mina Achtouk is married to a mason. Together they have two sons in primary school. It was very important for Mina that her sons attend school because she didn’t get that chance growing up in poverty. Instead, she learned how to weave from the women in her family. When she got married she used her skills and sold her handwoven rug to finance her sons’s education. Mina specializes in boucherouite. When the cooperative Tifawin opened its doors in 2014, she joined it so she could gain control over her own income and work with and learn from other weavers.
Fatma was born in 1977 in Taznakht. Married and a mother of five, she is quite the master in weaving, she was taught by her mother and other members of her family at the early age of 7. School was a big distance away so she couldn't attend it, she joined Cooperative Tifawine in 2016 as a way to market her products and improve her living conditions. She wishes to shine and succeed.
